Dave Ferman has worked as a news reporter, feature writer and pop music writer for The Dallas Morning News, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and the Corpus Christi Caller-Times. He has also contributed to several magazines, including Texas Music and South Beach Magazine, and has written liner notes for a variety of blues, jazz and Celtic musicians. A story he wrote about the Fort Worth music scene was reprinted in Literary Fort Worth (TCU Press), a collection of stories and essays about the city.
