Kent Chapline is the Executive Web Producer at KTVT, the CBS owned-and-operated television station in Dallas/Fort Worth. In this role he has overall editorial responsibility for the station's Website, cbs11tv.com.

Prior to his Web work Kent spent 13 years as a television newscast producer and manager, working at stations in Dallas/Fort Worth, Oklahoma City, and El Paso. He covered firsthand most of the major news events in the southwestern United States during that time span, including the Branch Davidian standoff at Waco, the federal trials of Oklahoma City bombers Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols, the 1999 Oklahoma City tornado outbreak, the 2003 Shuttle Columbia disaster, and Hurricane Katrina. Kent has won several awards for his producing, including a National Headliner Award and a Telly Award.

Kent lives in Mansfield with his wife Jana, their two children, and several animals.
