Linda P. Campbell is an editorial writer and op-ed columnist for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. She has worked as a journalist since 1980, and her experience includes five years as national legal affairs correspondent for the Chicago Tribune, based on Washington, D.C.

She has won editorial and commentary writing awards from the Houston Press Club, the SPJ Fort Worth Chapter and the Association for Women Journalists. She also has won the Star-Telegram’s Annual Amons Awards for editorial writing and commentary.

She has completed fellowships through the University of Maryland on children and family policy, national security/civil liberties, criminal justice issues and immigration policy.
