Ralph R. Behnke B.A.-University of Missouri-Kansas City Moudy South 302 Expert In Before coming to TCU, Dr. Behnke taught at the University of Wisconsin, the University of Texas, Florida State University, the University of Kansas, and the United States Air Force. He served as Department Chair for the Communication Pathology, Radio-Televeison-Film, and Speech Communication Divisions at TCU, as Associate Director of the Communication Research Center at the University of Texas, and as Director of the Communication Research Center at Florida State University. He is recipient of the Chancellor's Award for Distinguished Research and holds the inaugural Burguières Distinguished Professorship in Communication Studies. He is ranked 5th in the nation in research productivity having published over 150 blind peer-reviewed articles in academic journals. Over 100 of his research papers were presented at national and regional communication association conventions where about 30 papers received distinguished research awards. He is a full member of the American Psychological Association, the National Communication Association, the American Relay League, and the American Legion (Korean War Veteran). 10/26/06 |
